Policies and Warranty

1. Warranty Coverage & Exclusions:

Warranty Period:

All mechanical parts come with a Limited 30-Days Warranty from the date of purchase. Unless a longer warranty is mentioned on the product being sold.

This warranty is valid for an exchange or store credit only on the part purchased ‘if applicable’.

Electrical parts, items sold as an "extra sale," "miscellaneous," or "as is" are considered "Final Sale" and have no warranty. No exceptions will be made.

The warranty does not cover any accessories bought, Labor or Installation costs. These costs will not be recognized, prorated, or reimbursed in any way. 

The warranty will be void if the part is broken, tampered with, has missing pieces or store marks, heat tabs (if applicable), or if the part has been opened without authorization.

The warranty is void if the part is installed improperly or if pre-installation procedures are not followed. If the customer wishes to disassemble the part, they must notify the store and receive approval first. Doing so without approval will void the warranty. (Must use your ‘Installation Procedures’ page attached to your product for installation instructions references).

To qualify for a warranty claim, the original invoice must be presented. Disputes will be considered a fraud attempt and it will void the warranty immediately.

These are sold with drained fluids (Almost empty).. The customer is responsible for replacing any exterior components, gaskets and fluids at their own expense.

The customer assumes all responsibility for damages to any parts purchased from Horizon Auto Parts while in their possession.

Mileage information provided by the merchant may not be exact, and the merchant may refuse to provide any additional information requested by the purchaser at any time. The customer agrees to these terms and conditions upon the purchase.

Horizon Auto Parts reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange request that does not meet the above conditions.

2. Shipping Policy & Information:

Any shipping costs and fees paid are non-refundable and will not be recognized in any way.

By purchasing, the customer understands that Horizon Auto Parts does not cover or reimburse any shipping charges at any moment of the transaction.

Horizon Auto Parts is not responsible for any damages caused to the product during shipment. In case of merchandise damaged during shipping, the customer must comply with Horizon Auto Parts to file a claim. The merchant is not responsible for the outcome of the claim but it will assist the customer at any time of the transaction that has been made.

The customer must inspect the merchandise upon delivery and report any damages or discrepancies to the shipping company and Horizon Auto Parts within 24 hours. Failure to do so may result in the denial of a claim.

The customer is responsible for contacting the carrier (shipping company) for prior tracking information(if the merchant is unable to do so). If the delivery is unsuccessful for any reason, the product may be sent to the nearest terminal for pickup, which the customer must handle at their own responsibility. If the product is not picked up at the nearest terminal and gets sent back to the sender, the customer is responsible for any associated shipping costs and losses. Horizon Auto Parts will not be responsible for or refunds any of these costs. 

The customer must provide accurate and complete shipping information. Horizon Auto Parts is not responsible for any delays or additional charges resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information.

Horizon Auto Parts reserves the right to use any shipping carrier and method at its discretion. Customers may request a specific carrier or method, but additional fees may apply.

If merchandise needs to be returned for a refund or exchange, the customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs associated with sending the product back and with sending the replacement to them.

3. Local Pickup Policy

Customers must provide Horizon Auto Parts with adequate notice to prepare their order. Orders will be ready for pickup within 24 hours of purchase, or sooner.

Customers must arrive with a vehicle capable of accommodating items of at least 36x36x36 inches, which is the average size of palleted engines and transmissions. If the customer arrives with a smaller vehicle, they are entirely responsible for ensuring the unit fits onto their vehicle, whether comfortably or uncomfortably. However, it is strongly advised against transporting the unit in a manner that may compromise safety or cause damage to the vehicle or the unit itself.

Customers are required to bring sufficient manpower or equipment to safely load the transmission onto their vehicle. Horizon Auto Parts is not liable for any damages incurred to the customer's vehicle during loading, which is the sole responsibility of the customer.

We will assist by using a hydraulic table to raise the unit to the desired height and position it close to the vehicle for loading. However, please note that while we may offer assistance if requested, we are not responsible for loading the unit onto the customer's vehicle. Customers are required to bring their own manpower or assistance if needed to safely load the unit onto their vehicle.

Customers must contact Horizon Auto Parts prior to arriving at the pickup location to coordinate the pickup process and timing.

If the customer fails to notify Horizon Auto Parts or is unable to pick up the unit as scheduled, they must contact us to arrange an alternative pickup time.

Pickup must occur at Horizon Auto Parts' designated garage address. Customers are prohibited from entering the garage premises for any reason, as unauthorized access may result in legal action.

Customers are permitted to inspect the unit in person before loading. They may take photos or videos if desired.

By picking up the product, the customer acknowledges acceptance of its condition and total appearance.

If the customer drops the product during loading, they are fully responsible for any resulting damages, and the warranty will be immediately voided.

Horizon Auto Parts assumes no responsibility once the product leaves our premises with the customer. Any incidents, damages, or accidents occurring thereafter are the sole responsibility of the customer.

By proceeding with the pickup, the customer agrees to abide by Horizon Auto Parts' policies and accepts full responsibility for the unit once it is in their possession.

3. Returns, Exchanges, Refunds Terms and Information:

All returns, exchanges, or refunds must be made within 30 days of the original purchase date. For items showing a 60-day warranty period on the receipt, returns, exchanges, or refunds must be made within 60 days. After these periods, no returns, exchanges, or refunds will be accepted. Horizon Auto Parts reserves the right to enforce these terms as part of their policy.

In case of a defective product, Horizon Auto Parts will exchange the part or offer a partial or full refund if the item cannot be replaced. The customer must contact us immediately if a defective product has been received for return instructions. The customer must contact Horizon Auto Parts for prior information and provide a certified mechanic's letter explaining all actions taken with the transmission, including installed accessories, programming, oil, oil filters, etc. They must describe the transmission's failures as accurately as possible and remain in contact with Horizon Auto Parts for further steps. Customers may be asked to redo procedures such as re-learning or reprogramming.

All sales or refunds are subject to a 15% Restocking Fee. This Fee is non-negotiable.

Returned parts must be in their original condition as received, including intact, with no breakage, tampering, missing pieces, disassembly, or absence of store painting marks; failure to meet these criteria will void the warranty with no refunds or exchanges. Additionally, installing different parts on the product before returning them to Horizon Auto Parts instead of the originals will also void the warranty. It is essential that returned parts visually match their original condition, as we photograph them before sale; any discrepancies may result in warranty voidance or refusal of the claim.

The warranty is voided if heat tabs on engines or transmissions are blown, missing, or tampered with in any way, and if the original paint marks from the store are missing.
